Tory Lanez Responds to Megan Thee Stallion's Restraining Order, Denies Harassment Claims

Tory Lanez has hit back at Megan Thee Stallion following her request for a restraining order, accusing the rapper of harassing her from behind bars. Lanez, 32, who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence in California after being convicted of shooting Megan in the feet during a 2020 incident, denied the allegations and called them “ridiculous.”

Megan, 29, filed the restraining order in Los Angeles on Tuesday, claiming that Tory had been coordinating with bloggers to spread false information about her online. According to court documents, the harassment campaign involved a network of individuals, including YouTuber Milagro Gramz (Cooper), who Megan alleges acted as a “mouthpiece” for Tory. Megan's legal team says this campaign has caused her severe emotional distress, contributing to her depression and isolation from friends.

One of the most disturbing claims in Megan's filing is her statement that she "sometimes wishes Tory would have shot and killed me, if I would have known I was going to go through this torture." Megan also accuses Tory of attempting to undermine the release of her documentary In Her Words, which premiered on Amazon Prime on October 31, 2024. Tory’s legal team has dismissed this claim, stating that the timing of a legal petition related to the case was unrelated to the documentary and was simply a part of necessary legal procedures.

The petition Tory filed in October 2024 alleged that the LAPD had misplaced the gun used in the shooting. However, the Los Angeles Attorney General’s office ruled in November that Tory and his legal team failed to provide sufficient evidence to support their claim.

Megan’s court filing also revealed phone logs from Tory’s prison calls, which allegedly show a “coordinated effort” between him and Cooper, including discussions about payments related to the harassment campaign. Tory’s legal team responded, labeling Megan's claims as “ridiculous” and insisting that the court filings were done to comply with legal guidelines, not to detract from her documentary.

In addition to the restraining order, Megan is suing Cooper for defamation, accusing the blogger of spreading false and damaging statements about her, including the distribution of a "deepfake" pornographic video. Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, has emphasized the need for accountability in the blogging community, accusing Cooper of cyberbullying and spreading misinformation that harms Megan's reputation.

Megan’s public statement on the matter reflected her frustration with years of online harassment: "It's time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life."

Meanwhile, as Tory Lanez appeals his conviction, the case continues to unravel, with Megan seeking legal protection from what she describes as ongoing psychological torment.
