Bill Gate Humble Respond To Beyonce Mentioning His Name In Her Single Formation

Beyonce’s newest hit ‘Formation” has inspired all kinds of reactions, debates and opinion pieces. It seems like everyone has something to say about Bey’s politically-charged new single. The only one who appears to be tardy to the party is billionaire Bill Gates.



In the song, Beyonce name drops Gates when she says “You just might be a black Bill Gates in the making.” and it turns out the 60 year old had no idea his name was mentioned in the most talked about song by the world’s most popular entertainer.

When asked how he felt about it, his response was super underwhelming, humbling, but underwhelming none the less.

“I said, ‘Are you serious? This is kind of a strange set of words here. I’m surprised, ‘”Gates, who obviously doesn’t have Beyonce alerts set up, found out about the shoutout through a coworker. “I guess it’s nice that people consider me successful.”

Really? The humble brag? Okay, Bill. Despite his response, Gates proved he may not have known about Beyonce new song, but he does know how to dab.
