Ms. Susan Ngozi Nwokedi is an award winning Nigerian-American film/television producer, writer, director and actress. She has been acting since her early teens. She has over 15 years of film and entertainment industry experience. She is degreed in Theatre Arts and Filmmaking. She has produced and appeared in several international films.
Ms. Nwokedi has produced, worked with and starred along side top Nollywood and Hollywood stars such as Chuck Norris, Beverly D'Angelo, AY, Prince Eke, Van Vicker, Artus Frank, Alex Ekubo, Peter Straus, Chidi Mokeme, Clem Ohameze, Jim Lawson, Mike Godson, Uche Jumno, Yemi Blaq, Paul Sambo, Chinny Chukwu, Lois Chiles and many more. She is the Founder and CEO of Topline Production and Entertainment Co. Ms. Nwokedi is very passionate about the craft of filmmaking and welcomes all opportunities to partake in the art form regardless of whether she's acting, directing or producing. Besides working as a filmmaker/actress, Ms. Nwokedi is also a writer and elementary school teacher. She has written children's books, and how to guide books. Ms. Nwokedi has been teaching at FBISD for 11 years and holds Masters Degree in Education Leadership from University of St. Thomas. Ms. Nwokedi uses her love of filmmaking to motivate, engage and teach her students. She has written, produced and directed two plays at her school "The Grouchy Ladybug and Spaghetti and Meatballs for All, a Mathematical Story (Both adopted from books she read in class to her students). Her ultimate goal is to fuse her two passions "Education and Entertainment" into one. Ms. Nwokedi is a philanthropist and a firm believer in pursuing one’s dream. At her company, the motto is “the sky is not the limit, it’s the beginning.”
