Anant Ambani, the son of India's wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani, married Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, on Friday, July 12.
The opulent wedding, estimated to cost over $600 million, was held at the JIO World Convention Center in Mumbai, India.
The star-studded guest list included Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, singer Joe Jonas, wrestler John Cena, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Afrobeat singer Rema also performed his hit song "Calm Down" for the distinguished attendees.
The event attracted numerous Bollywood celebrities such as Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday, and Sara Ali Khan, among others.
Spanning three days, the extravagant celebration is among the most expensive weddings in history, reflecting the immense wealth of the Ambani family. Mukesh Ambani, listed by Forbes as the world's ninth richest person with a net worth of $123 billion, gifted the couple a $76 million villa on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The luxurious property boasts 3,000 square feet, ten bedrooms, and a private beach.
Additional gifts included a £500,000 Bentley Continental GTC Speed and an array of custom-made jewelry and clothing worth millions of pounds. Nita Ambani, Mukesh's glamorous wife, presented her new daughter-in-law with a pearl and diamond choker valued at approximately £10 million, along with dozens of bespoke, multi-million-pound pieces. Anant also received a £2 million Cartier brooch.
