Bobrisky Arrested at Nigerian-Benin Republic Border During Passport Check

Crossdresser Bobrisky was arrested at the Seme border on October 21 during a routine passport check, according to an immigration source. Premium Times reports that the arrest took place around midnight, and Bobrisky was detained until the following morning before being transferred to the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) Lagos zone in Ikeja.

The source disclosed that Bobrisky handed his passport to another individual for stamping, but officers recognized his name and requested that he disembark from his vehicle. "He gave his passport to someone to stamp it for him, so, the officer saw the name immediately among others and requested that he should come down from the vehicle," the source revealed.

Bobrisky is reportedly under investigation by a committee of the House of Representatives, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the Nigerian Correctional Service over bribery-related allegations.
