Georgia Rapper T-Hood Fatally Shot at Home

Georgia rapper T-Hood, real name Tevin Hood, has died at age 33 after being shot during a dispute at his Snellville residence on Friday. Known on the Southern rap scene for hits like READY 2 GO, Big Booty, and Perculator, Hood was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police are treating the case as a homicide, with one person already in custody for questioning. The motive and full circumstances remain unclear, though Hood’s mother confirmed no party was taking place at the time.

Tributes have poured in from friends, collaborators, and fans, including producer Deddotwill, artist AYOO KD, and singer Da Kid K. Many have noted the haunting nature of one of Hood’s recent comedic videos promoting his track Grave Diggerz, where he joked about death in a cemetery.

Hood’s girlfriend, Kelsie Frost — daughter of reality star Kirk Frost — posted a heartfelt tribute, calling him the “love of [her] life” and denouncing “weird and sick rumours.” She expressed her devastation and asked for privacy while vowing to defend his memory.

Police continue to investigate as the Southern rap community mourns the loss of one of its own.
