Laura Loomer Warns GOP of Neo-Nazi Threat Ahead of 2026 Elections

Conservative activist Laura Loomer has issued a stark warning about the presence of neo-Nazis within the Republican Party. Loomer’s remarks come amid growing divisions in the GOP and concerns over rising extremist influence in U.S. politics.

Loomer Highlights Neo-Nazi Problem:
In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Loomer stated:

“Maybe some of those Democrats were right when they called some people on the so called right Nazis. It’s kind of undeniable at this point that we do have a neo-Nazi problem on the right.”

She emphasized that ignoring this problem could result in “bigger” election losses for Republicans in both the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential elections. Loomer further wrote:

“Good morning to everyone who isn’t naive to the fact that the GOP has a Neo Nazi and Jihadi sympathizer problem.”

Context and Conservative Divisions:
The warnings follow Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, where GOP influencers debated contentious issues, including Israel and antisemitism. Loomer has criticized the conservative movement for failing to confront extremist ideologies.

She added:

“I’m not going to turn a blind eye to a digital Pogrom that is quickly turning into real world physical violence and death. I don’t care about being kept out of the ‘club.’ We need to have people who stand on principles with moral clarity.”

Criticism of Tucker Carlson and GOP Leadership:
Loomer also accused former Fox News host Tucker Carlson of attempting to “hostile takeover the GOP” to redefine it with extreme ideologies, including a “modern day Hitler youth” influence mixed with “a drizzle of Sharia Law.”

Expert Warnings:
The Global Project Against Hate and Extremism (GPAHE) reported a recent “explosion” in active neo-Nazi chapters in the U.S. and internationally, highlighting the urgency of addressing the issue. Loomer argues the GOP must confront this threat to preserve both moral integrity and electoral viability.

Conclusion:
Laura Loomer’s comments underscore the ongoing internal struggle within the Republican Party over extremism and ideological direction. As the 2026 midterms approach, the party’s ability to address neo-Nazi and extremist influences may prove pivotal in shaping its future.
