Speaking to the New York Daily News, she said she grew suspicious of Gutierrez when she noticed the dog was hiding in their house on the Lower East Side, New York, and set up a camera.
‘She never hides. I had a feeling there was something going on in my house,’ she said.
The woman confronted her boyfriend and called police when she made the discovery.
Gutierrez admitted to sexually abusing the dog ‘for his own sexual enjoyment,’ court papers say.
Princess has ‘some bruises’ but is expected to recover.
‘To be honest, he’s not a bad guy,’ she told the paper.
‘He’s probably been doing this a long time, since he was little. He needs help.’
