Nigerian international Odion Ighalo has advised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to stay 'calm' after an intense Instagram rant directed at former coach Finidi George.
Osimhen missed Nigeria’s recent World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic due to injury. However, during an Instagram live session on Saturday, he criticized Finidi, stating he had lost respect for the former Enyimba manager because of unconfirmed reports that Finidi had questioned his commitment to the national team.
Despite attempts from friends, fans, and colleagues to calm him down, Osimhen remained visibly angry. Among those commenting was former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo, who advised Osimhen to "calm down and end the live."
Osimhen, however, remained defiant, asserting his maturity and fearlessness.
