Nigerian music star and Grammy nominee Davido has married his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland, also known as Chefchi, in a grand ceremony held in Lagos. The event, which included both a traditional and a church wedding, was attended by prominent figures from various sectors, including business, politics, and entertainment.

Davido wore traditional Yoruba and Igbo attire, while Chioma looked stunning in a series of outfits showcased in their pre-wedding photos. The singer shared these photos on social media with the hashtag "#CHIVIDO2024".

In a recent interview, Davido reflected on his relationship with Chioma, revealing that he knew her before his fame. He expressed gratitude for meeting her during that period, noting that it would be difficult to form genuine relationships now due to his wealth and status. He emphasized the importance of authenticity in his circle, valuing those who supported him from the beginning.

The couple, who tragically lost their son Ifeanyi in 2022, welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023.

The wedding was attended by notable guests, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Ooni of Ife Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other high-profile individuals. Reality TV host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and anchor Kie Kie hosted the ceremony and after-party.

In a touching moment at the event, Davido gifted Chioma a car, reminiscent of the Porsche he gave her in 2019, capturing the joy and love shared between them.
