 Afrobeats star and newlywed David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has remarked that marrying an Igbo woman is not easy.

Davido recently tied the knot with his wife, Chioma Rowland, an Igbo woman from Imo State.

During a live Instagram session with music executive Ubi Franklin shortly after his wedding, the singer expressed his thoughts on the challenges of marrying an Igbo woman, without elaborating on the specifics. "E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman. Igbo woman, e no easy," he said.

During the wedding, Davido assured Chioma’s parents that he would protect and respect their daughter throughout their marriage. The ‘Assurance’ singer promised her “a lifetime assurance.”
