President Tinubu Appoints Eight New Federal Permanent Secretaries


 President Bola Tinubu has authorized the appointment of eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries to address current and upcoming vacancies in various states and geopolitical zones within the highest echelons of the Civil Service of Nigeria, according to a statement from presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale.

Ngelale explained that Tinubu sanctioned these appointments following a meticulous selection process conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

The newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries include Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop (Akwa-Ibom), Obi Emeka Vitalis (Anambra), Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a (Bauchi), Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi (Jigawa), Olusanya Olubunmi (Ondo), Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila (Zamfara), Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma (South-East), and Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen (South-South).

Ngelale added that President Tinubu expressed confidence that the new appointees would demonstrate unwavering commitment, diligence, and loyalty to the nation in carrying out their duties, thereby ensuring optimal service delivery to the Nigerian populace.
