Singer Sean Kingston, who was recently arrested and extradited, has been released from jail after posting a $100,000 bail.
He was released on Wednesday, June 5, in Broward County, with special conditions including surrendering his passport and any firearms to officials. Additionally, his mortgage collateral will be filed in public records within 10 days.
The "Beautiful Girls" singer took to social media to announce his release, expressing gratitude to God, his family, friends, extensive legal team, and fans for their support during the ordeal. He also received reassurance from his mother, who is charged in the case alongside him.
Prosecutors allege that Sean and his mother, Janice Turner, defrauded several businesses, including a Cadillac car dealer, a high-end furniture store, and a jeweler, out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
