Trump Rallies in Phoenix: Declares Trials Rigged, Vows to Overturn Biden's Policies and Restore 'Real America`

In his first campaign rally since being convicted of 34 felonies, former President Donald Trump denounced what he called a “rigged” trial overseen by a “highly conflicted” judge, insisting there was “no crime” committed.

Trump's legal battles have become a prominent theme in his campaign, with the former president frequently telling his supporters that the charges are a form of election interference aimed at suppressing the MAGA movement.

Speaking at a Turning Point Action event in Phoenix, held at Dream City Church—a familiar venue for Trump and Turning Point—the ex-president decried the judicial process and urged appellate courts to intervene. "Those appellate courts have to step up and straighten things out, or we’re not going to have a country any longer," he declared.

The extreme heat at the rally led to some attendees needing medical attention for heatstroke while waiting outside for the venue to open. The event, organized by Turning Point Action, the political arm of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA founded by Charlie Kirk, saw Trump reiterating his criticisms of the Biden administration.

Trump particularly targeted Biden’s recent executive order limiting asylum seekers, which he vowed to rescind on his first day back in office if re-elected, calling the order “bullshit.” He criticized Biden’s immigration policies and reminisced about the strict measures implemented by former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who joined Trump on stage and was affectionately greeted by the former president.

“Arizona is being turned into a dumping ground for the dungeons of the third world,” Trump said, emphasizing immigration as a key issue for the border state. He continued to propagate claims of a stolen 2020 election, alleging that Democrats “used Covid to cheat” and praised losing Republican candidates Kari Lake and Abe Hamadeh, asserting their races were rigged.

Trump directed supporters to the “Swamp the Vote” website, funded by the Republican National Committee, to encourage voter registration and participation. He stressed the importance of every Republican and Trump supporter casting their vote to overcome what he termed the "Margin of Fraud."

The rally concluded with a Q&A session, where Trump fielded questions about border security, drug issues, and the rising cost of living. He promised to reduce inflation by increasing domestic energy production and used a visual aid of Tic Tac containers to illustrate the impact of inflation. “People that made the same amount of money live half as well because the inflation is so high,” he said, labeling inflation a “country-buster.”

When asked about improving healthcare access in rural Arizona, Trump assured supporters he would handle it, citing his popularity in rural America. A woman working with senior citizens struggling with expenses asked Trump for advice on their plight. His response was simple: “Vote for Trump.
