Biafra Government in Exile Accuses Nigerian Security Agencies of Complicity in Southeast Attacks

Simon Ekpa, Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, has raised serious allegations against Nigerian security agencies, claiming that some operatives are covertly involved in the violence plaguing the Southeast. In a post on X, Ekpa condemned recent incidents, especially the attack near SaveMore Market Place in Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State, which resulted in multiple deaths among both security personnel and civilians.

Ekpa criticized the Nigerian Police Force and Army for reportedly mischaracterizing these violent actors as official officers. He asserted, “Those neutralized in Owerri were terrorists who killed innocent Biafran ladies during fierce battles with Biafrans.” He emphasized that such individuals, who target unarmed civilians, should be labeled as terrorists, not officers.

The Prime Minister further contended that the Biafra forces have been engaged in conflicts with these alleged terrorists, not with legitimate security personnel as some reports suggest.
