Nigerian actress Ini Dima-Okojie has candidly shared her ongoing battle with fibroid tumors in a recent Instagram video. The actress, known for her role in Blood Sisters, revealed that despite undergoing significant surgery in 2020 to address the issue, her condition has returned.
In her video, Ini Dima-Okojie detailed her fibroid journey, expressing her disappointment at having to confront the issue again. "My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am," she said. She explained that instead of opting for another invasive procedure, she has chosen a holistic approach to manage her symptoms.
Dima-Okojie also highlighted her commitment to raising awareness about fibroids and supporting other women who face similar challenges. As part of her efforts, she announced plans to sponsor scans for 20 women dealing with fibroids, aiming to help those in need of medical support.
"I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them," she added.
Through her openness and proactive support, Ini Dima-Okojie is working to shed light on fibroid-related issues and assist others in their journey.
