Chidimma Adetshina Expresses No Desire to Return to South Africa Amid Pageant Controversy

Nigerian-South African beauty queen Chidimma Adetshina has revealed that she has no immediate plans to return to South Africa following recent controversies and her subsequent withdrawal from the Miss South Africa pageant.

Adetshina had initially been in the spotlight after her announcement as a contestant in the Miss South Africa pageant drew criticism. The situation escalated with allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother, leading to her decision to withdraw from the competition.

Upon leaving South Africa, Adetshina received an invitation to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she gladly accepted. She has been in Nigeria for over a week, and her experiences there have left a strong impression on her.

In a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Adetshina shared her enthusiasm for her current stay in Nigeria, expressing her satisfaction with her new environment. “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back,” she said. “It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”

Adetshina’s positive outlook on her time in Nigeria highlights her excitement for new opportunities and experiences in her father’s homeland.
