Primate Ayodele Urges President Tinubu to Embrace Restructuring for Nigeria’s Prosperity

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on President Bola Tinubu to implement comprehensive restructuring in Nigeria, citing concerns that the country’s democratic system is becoming outdated. In a statement released on Sunday through his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele argued that restructuring is essential for revitalizing Nigeria’s democracy and fostering national prosperity.

According to the prophet, various forms of restructuring are necessary, including economic, geopolitical, ethnic, security, and political adjustments. He emphasized that such changes would not only benefit President Tinubu’s administration but also earn him widespread appreciation from the public.

“The democratic system in Nigeria is getting tired, and there is a pressing need for economic, geopolitical, ethnic, security, and political restructuring,” Primate Ayodele stated. “Restructuring will invigorate the democratic process and positively impact the nation.”

Primate Ayodele further asserted that the nation’s issues are not solely financial but stem from a deeper dissatisfaction with the current system. He claimed that the forces binding Nigeria together are unhappy with the existing structure, which he believes is contributing to the perceived failures of the current administration.

“The problem is not just about the dollar,” he said. “What’s at stake is the dissatisfaction among the forces holding Nigeria together. They are calling for restructuring, and if this is not addressed, it will have adverse effects on the country.”

He urged President Tinubu to act decisively, warning against being misled by external financial institutions like the IMF. “The system that supports Nigeria’s operation is exhausted,” Primate Ayodele added. “Restructuring is inevitable, and it must be undertaken promptly to prevent further difficulties. Both the system and the people are demanding it.”

Primate Ayodele’s comments highlight growing calls for significant reforms in Nigeria’s governance structures, aiming to address long-standing challenges and pave the way for a more effective and harmonious democratic system.
