Adria English, one of the accusers of Sean "Diddy" Combs, has taken her allegations to law enforcement by filing a police report with the Miami Beach Police Department. This move could potentially escalate the ongoing federal investigations into the music mogul. English, who has already filed a civil lawsuit accusing Diddy of sex trafficking at his notorious White Parties, presented her claims to the police for the first time last week.
In her report, English reiterated the accusations outlined in her lawsuit, dating back to the early 2000s. English, a former porn star known by her stage name "Omunique," alleges that she was recruited as a go-go dancer for Diddy's White Parties in 2004. She claims she was drugged and coerced into sexual acts during these events. Despite taking her statement, Miami Beach police detectives concluded there was insufficient evidence to pursue an investigation into human trafficking or other crimes. However, the report will be shared with federal authorities, who are conducting parallel investigations into the allegations against Diddy.
English's attorney, Ariel Mitchell, expressed cautious optimism about the process, revealing that English plans to file another police report in New York City soon. The delay in filing there is due to the city's requirement for her to make the report in person.
Last month, English filed a lawsuit naming Diddy and several of his associates, including Tamiko Thomas, whom English alleges played a role similar to that of Ghislaine Maxwell in the Jeffrey Epstein case. English seeks damages for emotional trauma, citing lasting issues with intimacy and painful memories stemming from the alleged incidents.
In response to the legal challenges, Diddy's attorney, Jonathan Davis, issued a statement to TMZ, asserting, "No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won't change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court."
As this situation continues to develop, all eyes will be on the federal authorities and the potential impact of these latest developments on the broader investigation into the serious allegations against Diddy.
