Rapper Falz Demands Apology from VeryDarkMan Over Controversial Remarks

Rapper Folarin Falana, known as Falz, has given social activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) a 24-hour deadline to apologize and retract comments he made about Falz.

On September 24, VDM shared an audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky and a male friend. In the recording, Bobrisky claimed that he had spoken with Falz while in prison, suggesting that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, SAN, were trying to secure him a presidential pardon. VDM expressed his disapproval of Falz and his father for their alleged association with Bobrisky and questioned Falz's integrity.

In a statement released from his father’s law firm, Falz clarified that Bobrisky did contact him on May 4 to request N3 million for a VIP section in the prison, but he refused to provide any money. Falz accused VDM of portraying him as a homosexual and compromising the cause of justice for financial gain. He also criticized VDM for depicting him as a fake human rights activist without seeking his side of the story.

Falz's legal team has demanded an immediate retraction of the "offensive and derogatory publication," along with a public apology on all platforms where the comments were shared. They warned that if VDM does not comply within 24 hours, they will pursue legal action, including seeking monetary damages.
