Social critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Very Dark Man (VDM), has responded to the N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed against him by controversial crossdresser Bobrisky. In a video shared on his Instagram page, VDM dismissed the lawsuit, laughing off the accusations and predicting that those involved will face consequences.
VDM stated that the legal case would result in some individuals exchanging their "credibility" for his "publicity." He confidently asserted, "Because of this case, some people's integrity will be diminished, and I will ensure they regret taking it to court. You will hate why you took this case like this. I promise you that."
He also alleged that there was a conspiracy at play, pointing out the timing of Bobrisky's actions. VDM referenced how, within 24 hours of his initial post, Nigerian artist Falz demanded a public apology. He noted that Bobrisky appeared confused, posting about feeling depressed and contemplating suicide. However, Bobrisky later regained strength and proceeded to file the lawsuit.
VDM expressed suspicion about the situation, suggesting that there might be a coordinated effort to cover up certain details. "It feels like they are working together now," he said, speculating that Bobrisky may be holding back further revelations that could cause problems for others involved.
He also raised questions about how Bobrisky was able to make phone calls from prison, where such access is typically restricted. VDM boldly declared that he would not back down from the case, insisting that his credibility would prevail. He emphasized his confidence in his legal team, particularly his lawyer Deji Adeyanju, stating that the case would only serve to boost Adeyanju's profile.
"I cannot lose. I never lose, and I will not lose," VDM concluded.
