A concerning situation unfolded during the Denver Broncos' game against the New York Jets on Sunday when running back Tyler Badie collapsed on the sideline and had to be stretchered off the field.

The incident occurred shortly after Badie was hit in the back by Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, which resulted in a fumble that the Broncos recovered. Initially, it appeared to be a routine hit, as Badie returned to the sideline. However, after a commercial break, he was seen lying on his back and receiving medical attention.

According to the broadcast, Badie had movement while on the ground. He was eventually placed on a cart and taken away from the field, but no further updates on his condition have been provided.

Tyler Badie was drafted in the sixth round by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Broncos picked him up while he was on the Ravens' practice squad, and he has been with the team since then. This season, Badie has had 11 carries for 86 yards. Prior to the injury, he had caught the ball twice but ended up with negative yardage.
