Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen may leave his parent club, Napoli, on a permanent transfer as early as January, according to reports from RAI Sport. The report reveals that a buyout clause in Osimhen’s contract allows for a transfer to any club outside Serie A, with the clause being significantly lowered due to his recent contract extension.
Initially, Osimhen's buyout clause was set at €130 million, but it has now been reduced to €90 million for a potential permanent move in January. Furthermore, the price will drop to €75 million for a transfer away from Napoli next summer.
Osimhen, who signed a season-long loan deal with Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray earlier this month, had previously turned down a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli. A potential transfer to Premier League club Chelsea also did not materialize.
Before joining Galatasaray on loan, the Nigerian striker extended his contract with Napoli until June 2027, leaving the door open for a permanent transfer in the near future.
