Kodak Black Admits to Relapse Amid Growing Concern Over Erratic Behavior

American rapper Kodak Black has publicly acknowledged falling back into substance use, raising alarm among his fans due to his increasingly erratic actions and worrying statements.

During an Instagram Live session at a football game, Kodak addressed a fan’s comment about his sobriety with a startling response.

“Bitch, I ain’t sober. I look sober? I’m never sober, bitch,” he said, flashing cash to the camera. “For what? For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I’m too young to die sober.”

The rapper’s unpredictable behavior escalated when he handed his phone to a friend and leaped over a fence during the broadcast.

Kodak’s behavior also drew attention earlier this month during his appearance on Kai Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” livestream on Twitch. Fans expressed concern after Kodak appeared incoherent and seemingly consumed pills on camera.

One particularly alarming moment showed him performing a “trick shot” with a pill before collapsing to the floor. Cenat and viewers were visibly disturbed, with Kodak continuing to sweat profusely and ramble incoherently during interactions with the Twitch chat.

Kodak has spoken openly about his battle with addiction in the past. In April, he revealed how his dependence on Percocet had reached dangerous levels.

“I remember a point in my life when I was chewing a lot of Percs,” he shared on Instagram Live. “My average was 40 Percocets… to the point where I look at this and be like, ‘What the fuck was wrong with me, bruh?’”

At the time, Kodak expressed pride in overcoming his addiction, stating he had not taken Percocet since his release from jail. He even regretted glorifying drug use in his music, notably vowing never to perform his hit song “Super Gremlin” again due to its reference to taking a fake Percocet.

Despite these earlier efforts, Kodak appeared to relapse in July when he filmed himself swallowing multiple pills, declaring, “I’m finna glitch right quick.” His recent admission of ongoing drug use and concerning behavior has reignited fears about his well-being among fans and industry peers.

As Kodak continues to navigate his struggles with addiction, his public actions have highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by individuals battling substance abuse. Fans and supporters hope he seeks the help needed to regain stability and prioritize his health.
