Justin Baldoni Dropped by WME Amid Blake Lively Lawsuit Allegations

Justin Baldoni's agency, William Morris Endeavor (WME), has severed ties with the actor just hours after his former It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively filed a lawsuit accusing him of inappropriate conduct and reputation sabotage. The news, first reported by TMZ, has not been accompanied by an official statement from the agency regarding its decision.

Blake Lively’s lawsuit alleges that Baldoni created a toxic work environment during the production of It Ends With Us. According to Lively, his behavior included showing her a nude photo, discussing a past "pornography addiction," sharing explicit details of his sexual history, and making remarks about her weight.

The filing further claims that these incidents caused significant disruptions on set, leading to production halts and necessitating emergency meetings with the studio to address the situation.

Additionally, Lively accuses Baldoni and two crisis PR strategists, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, of conspiring to tarnish her reputation. The lawsuit references alleged messages obtained through a civil subpoena as evidence of these efforts, which reportedly exacerbated tensions and strained the production further.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, has strongly denied the allegations, labeling them as "false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious." Freedman suggested the lawsuit is a calculated move by Lively to rehabilitate her public image.

WME’s decision to part ways with Baldoni is particularly notable given that the agency also represents Lively. The agency has declined to comment on whether the ongoing legal dispute influenced their decision.

Requests for comment from Baldoni on his dismissal have so far gone unanswered, leaving the reasons behind WME's actions open to speculation.

The allegations and subsequent fallout have sparked significant attention in the entertainment industry, with many questioning the broader implications for workplace culture and accountability in Hollywood. As the legal battle unfolds, it remains to be seen how this controversy will affect the careers of both Baldoni and Lively and whether additional actions will be taken by those involved.
