After nearly two decades together, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially separated. Rolling Stone confirmed the news, following an earlier report by TMZ that the couple had been living apart since the beginning of summer.
Kidman, 57, and Urban, 57, married in June 2006 and share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. The couple had just celebrated their wedding anniversary this year, with Kidman posting a photo of them together. Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.
Both stars have been busy with their careers. Urban, who released his latest album High last September, has been touring across North America and Australia. Meanwhile, Kidman recently wrapped filming Practical Magic 2, a sequel to her 1998 cult classic, set for release in September 2026.
The couple’s relationship had recently drawn media attention when Urban abruptly ended a radio interview in Australia after being asked about Kidman’s intimate on-screen roles, particularly her recent Netflix rom-com A Family Affair with Zac Efron.
For now, both Kidman and Urban are continuing to focus on their professional lives as they navigate this new chapter apart.
