RUSSIA: PUTIN INVADE UKRAINE

 

Instead of paving Russia’s path to greatness, invading Ukraine would ensure Putin’s infamy by leaving his country diplomatically isolated, economically crippled and strategically vulnerable. I am not a student of history nor an expert but in my limited knowledge or opinion, there are only but two great powers in the world. The USA and the USSR. Britain is sometimes considered as such based on past glory. The world power is not balanced as it seems. Judging by the fact that the USA has overwhelmingly colonized the world by five strategic means such as military might, economic, social, geographic and political. 

Though, the USSR seems to be the largest landmark country in Europe and got disintegrated by communism suspected to be caused by the USA, hence the cold war. Putin is assiduously aiming at unifying the fragmented USSR by any means possible. He would had done this since long but the fear of the American interest makes him go about it trickishly. If the fragmented parts of the former USSR align with NATO, his ambition will be in fiasco. His desperation is as a result of taking advantage of the donald trump weakened America to achieve his desired aim. He can't afford to delay any longer as America is regaining it's strength and influence on the world. 

America and most part of the world are in dire economic quagmire especially from the hit by the covid 19 pandemic and putin's Russia is a bit of some economic standing. Just as china, Saudi Arabia are closed countries, same is Russia and Ukraine wouldn't forgo the American style. Russia is almost 6 times stronger than Ukraine but they should prove a point by holding strong to will power against Russia, though this is very costly. China has some vested interest in the fall of Ukraine and wouldn't want to offend Russia. Just as late Fela opined, the world bodies are meaningless especially to the African continent.
