A newlywed couple is under fire after posing nude with their groomsmen and bridesmaids at their wedding. Brazilian influencer Luiza Marcato and her Spanish husband, Máximo García, were officially married earlier this month in a civil ceremony officiated by a pastor in São Paulo.
Following the formal ceremony, the couple hosted a different event at García's home, attended by adult film industry members and models. The evening featured a dinner and a nude party, sparking criticism when photos from the event surfaced online.
Images show García's two groomsmen in underwear surrounded by three naked bridesmaids. The couple chose not to marry in a church, citing their lack of belief in traditional ceremonies. "It's our lifestyle; there's no need for a traditional church ceremony," García told Brazilian news portal G1. "We met in this adult environment; it's our world."
Marcato, who had previously invited 15 female friends to García's bachelor party in Rio de Janeiro, explained their decision to have an intimate celebration with close friends. "We are not jealous; we love each other and are liberal," she said. "We are in the best phase, happy and together."
Despite the backlash, García insists their choice of celebration is not meant to disrespect traditional customs. "We did the wedding our way. We met in porn, our friends are from porn, we live in that world. Why would it be different?" he stated. "It's not about disrespecting the ritual; it's about respecting our essence and who we really are. Happiness bothers people, right?"
Unfazed by the negative comments, García is focused on his success. "I don't even see the comments and criticisms anymore. I'm much more than what people say. It may seem like arrogance, but I don't care what people think of me anymore," he said. "While they criticize, I earn $55,000 per month. I now have a wonderful wife, a real relationship without lies and secrets, and I am building my life and my wealth."
