FCT Police Launch Investigation into Murder of Retired Brigadier General


 The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has initiated an investigation into the brutal murder of retired Nigerian Army Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwe.

General Udokwe was reportedly killed by gunmen, suspected to be armed robbers, in Abuja on Saturday. The Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT, SP Josephine Adeh, announced that the attack occurred around 3 a.m. at Sunshine Homes Estate.

Upon receiving the report, FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, ordered a comprehensive and discreet investigation into the circumstances of this tragic event. He extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and assured them, as well as the public, that the perpetrators would be swiftly brought to justice.
