In a widely circulated video, protesters raided Chieni Supermarket, looting goods and damaging property, culminating in the supermarket being set ablaze.
Law enforcement intervened with tear gas, and firefighters were summoned to quell the flames, as similar protests erupted across Kenya, underscoring national dissatisfaction with the Finance Bill 2024.
