Drake Booed at Limp Bizkit Concert in Toronto

Canadian rapper Drake faced an unexpected backlash during Limp Bizkit’s concert in Toronto, his own hometown. The incident occurred when Limp Bizkit’s frontman, Fred Durst, mentioned Drake's presence in the audience, triggering a loud and negative reaction from the crowd.

During the performance, as Durst acknowledged Drake as a guest, the audience responded with audible boos and discontent. Despite Drake not appearing on stage, the crowd's reaction was clear, causing a brief pause in the show. Durst, visibly taken aback, responded to the hostility by asking, "I thought Drake was your homie? What? No? Drake’s my homie."

Despite the crowd's displeasure and some expletives directed at him, Durst remained composed. He dedicated the next song, "Take a Look Around," to Drake, even as the atmosphere became increasingly tense.

Limp Bizkit was performing as part of their "Loserville" tour, which includes a diverse lineup featuring RiFF RAFF, Bones + Eddy Baker, N8NOFACE, and Corey Feldman. The eclectic mix of artists may not align with Drake’s typical fan base, but receiving such a reception in his own city is likely to have been a sting for the rapper.
