Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, was tragically shot and killed on his 26th birthday, June 23, at the Holiday Inn Tampa North. The incident also left three others injured.
On Tuesday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office revealed Murphy's arrest through a social media post. SWAT teams surrounded Murphy's residence and conducted a thorough negotiation before he surrendered just after midnight.
Prior to Murphy's arrest, officials had already apprehended 18-year-old Sean A. Gathright, 21-year-old Alicia L. Andrews, and 21-year-old Isaiah J. Chance. The trio faces multiple charges, including premeditated first-degree murder and conspiracy. Gathright also faces additional charges related to evidence tampering.
In addition, authorities are actively searching for 27-year-old Davion Murphy, who is wanted for murder. All suspects are believed to be affiliated with rival gangs—ATK and 1200—opposed to the Six Block gang, to which Jones belonged.
Jacksonville Sheriff TK Waters and other officials emphasized the seriousness of the case, vowing to hold all involved individuals accountable. "These individuals have chosen lives of urban terrorism, and with their arrests, we demonstrate our commitment to justice," Waters stated.
Hillsborough County State Attorney Suzy Lopez added, "In Florida, participating in the planning of a murder can result in being held accountable for the death, and that is our goal here."
Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office or First Coast Crime Stoppers.
