Marlon Wayans' Los Angeles Home Burglarized

American actor and comedian Marlon Wayans has joined the list of celebrities targeted by burglars after his Los Angeles home was recently broken into.

The 51-year-old actor, renowned for his role in "White Chicks," was not at home during the incident, but his older brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans, 66, was present as the two thieves ransacked the estate.

Law enforcement sources reported that the burglary occurred last Saturday around 2:30 a.m. Two thieves accessed Marlon's Encino property through the backyard, broke a back window, and entered the house.

Keenen Ivory Wayans was awakened by some noise but dismissed it and went back to sleep, unaware of the break-in.

According to TMZ, Keenen discovered the burglary around 8:00 a.m. when Marlon's staff returned to the property. He was shocked to find that the thieves had ransacked the house and stolen a safe and several thousand dollars in cash.

Authorities have launched an investigation and are reportedly searching the L.A. area for any video footage that might provide leads.

This incident follows recent burglaries at the homes of two NBA stars, former basketball player Patrick Patterson and Utah Jazz's shooting guard Talen Horton-Tucker.
