Al B. Sure!, the ex-husband of Kim Porter, has publicly alleged that she was murdered in 2018 and is urging for a fresh investigation into her death.
Porter, a model and actress who had three children with rapper Diddy, died in November 2018, just days after reporting flu-like symptoms. A coroner later determined that she died from lobar pneumonia, ruling the death as natural without any foul play. Porter was found dead in her bed by her goddaughter the morning after spending a family movie night together.
However, following recent legal troubles for Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, Al B. Sure! has called for a federal investigation, suggesting that Diddy may be connected to Porter’s death. Diddy was arrested on September 16 and has been indicted on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
In an Instagram post, Brown, whose real name is Albert Brown, described Porter's death as a "tragic murder." He claimed that Porter had knowledge of Diddy’s alleged involvement in sex trafficking and that this may have led to her untimely death. He also expressed concerns over individuals involved in her memoir, suggesting they conspired to suppress its release.
In response to Brown's claims, Porter’s children—Quincy Brown and Jessie, Christian, and D’Lila Combs—released a statement asserting that their mother did not write a memoir and criticized anyone claiming to have a manuscript. They emphasized that the cause of her death has already been established as natural and called for peace as they continue to mourn her loss. They urged the public to remember Porter for the loving and strong person she was, rather than for unfounded conspiracy theories.
