Femi Falana Denies Involvement in Bobrisky’s Presidential Pardon Claims

Human rights lawyer Femi Falana has firmly denied having any discussions with crossdresser Bobrisky regarding a presidential pardon. This denial follows the release of an audio recording by social activist Very Dark Man, where Bobrisky allegedly claimed that rapper Falz contacted him, stating that Falana could help secure a pardon to clear Bobrisky's criminal record.

In the audio, Bobrisky, who was serving time in prison at the time, claimed that Falana initiated the pardon process but later informed him that assistance would require a payment of N10 million.

On September 25, Falana, through his legal representative Taiwo Olawanle, labeled these allegations as "vicious, wicked, and reckless," aimed at damaging his reputation. He stated that he has never communicated with Bobrisky about a pardon or any other issue.

Falana's legal team demanded an immediate retraction of the claims and a public apology from Very Dark Man, to be shared on all platforms where the initial statement was made. The letter warned that if the retraction and apology were not received within 24 hours, they would pursue legal action for defamation.

The letter emphasized that the allegations were unfounded and damaging, urging the public to disregard the claims.
