Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and South African DJ Maphorisa will be headlining the 2024 Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) concert, scheduled to take place from October 16 to 19 in Algiers, Algeria.
The CANEX WKND event, a major showcase for Africa’s creative and cultural industries, will also feature performances from Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, the Tuareg music group Tinariwen, and South Africa’s Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.
Ayra Starr, known for her international hit "Bloody Samaritan," has gained significant global recognition since its release in 2021.
