President Tinubu Appoints Seven New Executive Directors for NTA

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) as part of his ongoing efforts to revitalize Nigeria’s broadcast industry. The announcement was made on Friday, September 27, in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Among the appointees, Ayo Adewuyi has been reappointed as Executive Director of News, while Barrister Ibrahim Aliyu will take charge of Special Duties as the Executive Director. Other new appointees include Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha, who will serve as Executive Director of Administration and Training, and Mrs. Apinke Effiong, who has been named Executive Director of Finance.

In addition, Mrs. Tari Taylaur has been appointed as Executive Director of Programmes, Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza will serve as Executive Director of Engineering, and Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina will oversee Marketing as Executive Director.

Mrs. Effiong brings expertise in financial marketing, treasury management, and accounting, while Mrs. Taylaur is well-known for her work as an audio-visual creator and producer. Mrs. Fashina is recognized for her experience in integrated marketing communications and is a chartered marketer.

These appointments, which take immediate effect, are expected to inject new energy and innovation into the NTA, driving growth and development within the nation's broadcasting sector.
