Social critic Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Very Dark Man (VDM), has called on rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, to join forces with him in the fight against corruption in Nigeria. VDM made this appeal in a post shared on his Instagram page, where he suggested that if Falz witnessed the "nonsense" happening at the House of Representatives investigative panel, he would drop the defamation lawsuit against him.
The conflict between VDM and Falz arose after VDM released an audio recording allegedly involving Bobrisky and another man, in which it was claimed that Falz’s father, Femi Falana, was helping Bobrisky secure a presidential pardon for ₦10 million. Both Falz and Femi Falana denied the allegations, with Falz clarifying that he only spoke to Bobrisky when the crossdresser contacted him for money. Bobrisky also denied the authenticity of the audio, stating it was generated using AI technology.
Despite the legal dispute, VDM is calling for unity, urging Falz to set aside their differences and work together to combat corruption.
