Popular TikTok Star Terryon Thomas Arrested as Person of Interest in Therapist’s Death

A well-known TikTok personality, Terryon Ishmael Thomas, also known as Mr. Prada, has been named a person of interest in the death of William Nicholas Abraham, a 69-year-old therapist. Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp on a highway near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Saturday, September 28.

Thomas, 20, was apprehended in Dallas on October 1, following a brief manhunt. Law enforcement spotted him driving Abraham's vehicle, but instead of stopping, Thomas rammed into a police cruiser and fled the scene on foot. He was later seen on surveillance footage at a nearby store and was subsequently arrested.

Authorities believe Thomas was the last person to see Abraham alive, although the nature of their relationship and a potential motive for the killing remain unclear. Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the attack as violent, with Abraham dying from blunt force trauma. Despite searching Abraham’s home, no weapons or clear signs of foul play were discovered.

Abraham was a respected figure in Baton Rouge, known for hosting a local television show. Before becoming a therapist, he served as a Catholic priest and worked extensively as a life coach, focusing on substance abuse, mental health issues, and supporting the LGBTQ community. His tragic death has left his family and friends seeking answers.

“My brother didn’t deserve this,” said Tommy Abraham, the victim’s brother, in a statement to local news. “No one has the right to take another person’s life.”

Despite Abraham's positive reputation, his past included a dark moment. In 2015, he was arrested after being accused of inappropriate conduct with an 11-year-old boy during a therapy session, though he was never charged. Some have speculated about a potential connection between Thomas and the alleged victim of that case, but Abraham’s lawyer, Jarret Ambeau, clarified that Thomas was not involved.

Thomas, who has more than 4 million followers on TikTok, has made several recent posts in which he openly discusses his struggles with mental health, including a video where he refers to himself as bipolar. In other erratic posts, he shaves his head in patches and expresses emotional turmoil following a breakup.

Thomas is now awaiting a hearing in Dallas to determine if he will be extradited to Louisiana, where he could face charges of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting arrest, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. The investigation into Abraham’s death is ongoing.
