Biden Expresses Doubts About a Peaceful U.S. Election Due to Trump's Comments

U.S. President Joe Biden stated on Friday, October 4, that he is not confident the upcoming November election will be peaceful, citing concerns over previous remarks made by Republican candidate Donald Trump.

While addressing reporters in the White House briefing room, Biden said, "I’m confident it will be free and fair. I don’t know whether it will be peaceful."

Biden pointed out that Trump's comments, both recently and during the last election when he was dissatisfied with the results, posed serious risks. "The things that Trump has said and the things that he said last time out when he didn’t like the outcome of the election were very dangerous," he added.

In the upcoming election, Trump is set to face Democratic challenger and current Vice President Kamala Harris.
