Cassie Plans Music Comeback Following Diddy's Arrest

Singer Cassie is reportedly preparing to revive her music career after a lengthy hiatus attributed to her ex-boyfriend Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who has faced serious legal issues in recent weeks. Combs, 54, is currently in custody following charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering after his arrest on September 16.

Cassie, 38, previously brought attention to her struggles when she filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy last November, accusing him of physical abuse and rape. Remarkably, Diddy settled the lawsuit just a day later. In March, disturbing surveillance footage surfaced, showing Diddy violently attacking Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, in 2016.

In response to the footage, Cassie issued a heartfelt statement expressing gratitude for the support she has received: "Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning." She further highlighted the importance of addressing domestic violence, stating, "It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past."

Now, with Diddy behind bars and some of his associates stepping down, Cassie is reportedly focusing on her musical comeback. According to sources, she has registered a new song and is contemplating releasing tracks from her collection of unreleased music. An insider revealed, "Cassie is considering making a comeback to music now that Diddy is behind bars and some of the executives who were his lackeys are resigning."

The source added that Cassie never expected her career to be stalled for so long after the release of her debut album. However, she has a wealth of unreleased material that she wants to share, provided the timing and business arrangements align. Collaborators have reportedly been informed, and royalty splits have been agreed upon.

This news follows Cassie's recent updates to a track titled "Into It," which she initially registered with Universal Music back in 2010.
