Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has announced his separation from his wife, Valentina Cervantes, with whom he shares two children. The couple, who first met in Argentina, made the announcement on Thursday, revealing that they have chosen to live apart while maintaining a supportive family dynamic for their children.
In her statement on Instagram, Cervantes expressed her commitment to co-parenting, saying, "With Enzo today we say distance from each other. But we will always be family and support each other through everything because there are two kids in the middle that need a lot of our love for them." She praised Fernandez as an excellent father and emphasized the importance of avoiding conflicts, stating, "They don't want to create wars where there aren't any."
The split appears to be amicable, with reports indicating that Fernandez desires to explore life independently. Argentine journalist Julieta Argenta shared further insights on social media, revealing that Fernandez expressed a wish to experience the stage of life he missed by prioritizing family at an early age.
