VIDEO: Harry Styles Named People’s “Sexiest Musician Alive” for 2024 Amid Controversy

Harry Styles has been awarded the title of People magazine’s “Sexiest Musician Alive” for 2024, a decision that has sparked discontent from the runner-up, singer Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Harrington Pillsbury. This marks Styles' second consecutive win of this title, but Role Model expressed his frustration over the results despite campaigning vigorously on TikTok to garner votes in his favor.

In a candid message shared on his Instagram Stories, Role Model addressed his fans and those who voted for Styles, stating, “So this is my speech. Harry Styles has won 'Sexiest Musician Alive.' I was the runner-up. I heard about the counts — a lot of you voted for me. But I wanna speak to those who voted for Harry Styles. I hope you're happy.”

He went on to suggest that Styles would be largely indifferent to the outcome, adding, “His publicist isn't even going to mention this to him. He won’t know about this. That boy is in Fiji, somewhere. That's how insignificant this is to him.”

Role Model also took a moment to critique People magazine, saying, “You had an opportunity to really do something for the culture. To create this beautiful ending to an underdog story, and you didn't.” His comments reflect a sense of disappointment, highlighting the competitive nature of the title and the emotional investment of fans and candidates alike.
