Former Model Loni Willison Spotted Alone on Los Angeles Sidewalk, Reflects on Troubled Past

Loni Willison, a former model and ex-wife of Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson, was seen this week eating lunch alone on a Los Angeles sidewalk. At 41, Loni was surrounded by her belongings, eating her meal while sitting on the ground. This is not the first time the former star has been spotted in distress over the past few years, with reports of her searching for food outdoors, suffering from visible injuries, including a broken finger, and pushing a shopping cart filled with clothes. During this recent sighting, her hands appeared dirty.

Loni’s journey from walking the glamorous red carpets to living on the streets has left many shocked. Known for her previous work in magazines such as Glam Fit, Flavour, and Iron Man, her fall from grace has drawn sympathy from fans who remember her thriving in the modeling world.

In interviews, Loni has blamed her ex-husband, Jeremy Jackson, for her life’s downfall. During a conversation with X17 Online earlier this year, she cited her marriage to the actor as the turning point. “My ex-husband. Getting married. At least I got divorced… it set everything up,” she stated.

Loni and Jeremy split acrimoniously in 2014 after being married for less than two years. She later alleged that Jeremy attempted to strangle her during a physical altercation while they were both intoxicated. After years out of the public eye, Loni was first photographed homeless in 2018.

In a 2016 interview with DailyMail.com, Loni revealed that she had suffered a mental breakdown, which led her to believe she was being attacked by electrical currents, a delusion she believed could only be cured by taking crystal meth. Her struggle with mental health has been a significant factor in her current situation.

Jeremy Jackson, now 43, has also been open about his battle with crystal meth addiction. In an August interview with People, he admitted that his addiction led to a personal spiral. "I was spiraling down for sure," he said, reflecting on how his life "slipped through [his] hands like sand." Despite his past struggles, Jeremy shared that he is currently in “remission” from his addiction.

“When people ask if I’m in a good place, they mean if I’m still sober. It’s a mistake to judge addiction and alcoholism based on morality or personal virtue. It’s a mental sickness,” Jeremy explained, emphasizing that addiction is a chronic condition. "Yes, I am in remission from the disease I was once plagued with," he added, expressing gratitude for his recovery journey.

While Jeremy Jackson continues to work on his recovery, Loni Willison’s tragic situation serves as a stark reminder of the toll addiction and mental illness can take.
