King Harris, Son of Rapper T.I., Arrested in Georgia Following Traffic Stop

King Harris, the 19-year-old son of rapper T.I., was arrested in Georgia earlier this week after an encounter with law enforcement. The incident took place on Monday, October 14, in Dunwoody when Harris nearly collided with a police vehicle while exiting a gas station, prompting officers to initiate a traffic stop.

During the stop, the officer reportedly detected the smell of marijuana and noticed a firearm on King’s hip. The officer instructed him to place his hands on the steering wheel for safety. A background check revealed that King had an outstanding warrant from Pickens County for failing to appear in court.

Despite the situation, Harris was reportedly cooperative throughout the interaction. The officer safely disarmed him and placed him in handcuffs. After conducting a pat-down, King was escorted to the patrol vehicle and taken to DeKalb County Jail, where a mug shot was taken.

Harris was traveling with two other passengers, and a search of the vehicle revealed two small baggies of marijuana. One of the passengers received a citation for marijuana possession but was not arrested.
