Nigerian Gospel Artist Essemm Aims to Break World Record for Longest Continuous Singing Performance

Nigerian gospel sensation Somtochukwu Nsofor, widely known as Essemm, has embarked on an ambitious mission to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous singing performance. During a press conference in Lagos on Sunday, Essemm announced his goal of singing for an incredible 128 hours, surpassing the current record of 105 hours held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare.

Essemm emphasized that this record-breaking attempt is not just a personal milestone but a means to spread the message of Jesus Christ worldwide. "This is about the kingdom and its impact on global media for the gospel," he stated. He aims to leverage the transformative power of music to uplift and inspire, sharing Christ's love with audiences around the globe. Essemm hopes that his efforts will demonstrate the strength of faith and encourage fellow gospel artists to pursue their dreams.

His musical journey began in childhood, fueled by a passion for melodies. Over the years, he has mastered various instruments, including the guitar and piano. In addition to his music career, Essemm founded TWF Concept in 2014, a media and management platform that promotes creative growth within Nigeria's music industry. His production studio has played a crucial role in nurturing local talents, allowing them to reach a wider audience.

Essemm also initiated the Chronicles Music Concert, an annual event designed to spread the message of Jesus Christ through music and fellowship. This platform has become a launching pad for fellow gospel artists to showcase their music and inspire others.

Through this record-breaking attempt, Essemm aspires to make a significant impact in the music world, reinforcing his dedication to spreading the gospel and empowering the next generation of gospel musicians.
