Sean 'Diddy' Combs Allegedly Involved in Violent Confrontation with Son's Football Coach

Music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 54, allegedly attacked members of his son Justin's football coaching team in 2015 following a dispute over how his son was disciplined. According to newly revealed documents from the Los Angeles Times, the altercation occurred at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) weight training facility.

The incident reportedly unfolded after the coach, Sal Alosi, benched Justin Combs for the entire summer, which infuriated Diddy. According to the documents, Diddy confronted Alosi in his office alongside his son, and a verbal exchange quickly escalated into physical violence. The documents describe how Diddy allegedly assaulted the coach, scratching him and tearing his shirt.

As staff members intervened to separate Diddy from the coach, he allegedly turned his aggression toward an intern, putting him in a headlock. The situation intensified when Diddy reportedly grabbed a kettlebell and swung it in the direction of staff members, further escalating the incident.

Campus police eventually took Diddy into custody and charged him with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, as well as additional charges of making threats and battery. However, no misdemeanor charges were filed, as the District Attorney's office noted that no one was seriously injured.

At the time, Diddy denied the allegations, stating that the reports were inaccurate and expressing confidence that charges would not be pursued. His son Justin publicly supported his father, posting on social media, "I thank God for having a father that's always there for me. Love you pops."

Diddy has faced additional legal troubles since the incident. He has been in jail in Brooklyn since September 16, 2024, following charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which he has denied. The allegations, which date back to 2008, accuse Diddy of coercing and abusing women to fulfill his personal desires, including orchestrating so-called "Freak Offs," described as elaborate sex performances that he reportedly directed and recorded.
