Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has responded to a correction made by Hadiza El-Rufai, the former First Lady of Kaduna State, following his recent post on X (formerly Twitter) about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On Saturday, Sani commented that President Tinubu's frequent travels out of the country tend to influence taxes and the prices of goods. He wrote, "New law of economics: When the President travels out, taxes and prices goes up."
Mrs. El-Rufai, known for her habit of correcting grammatical errors on the platform, pointed out that Sani’s post should have used "go up" instead of "goes up."
In a lighthearted response, Sani addressed the former First Lady as "mummy" and jokingly asked her to stop focusing on him, writing, "I unfollowed you and you unfollowed me. And you still de hang around me. Mummy, leave me alone abeg."
The exchange has since gained attention, with users on the platform reacting to their playful interaction.
