VIDEO: Speed Darlington Drops New Song "Baby Oil" Following Arrest Over Burna Boy Defamation Case

Controversial singer Speed Darlington has teased a snippet of his latest track, "Baby Oil," just days after being released from police custody. His arrest came after Burna Boy filed a defamation petition against him.

The legal trouble stems from a video in which Darlington openly questioned how Burna Boy secured his 2021 Grammy award for his album Twice As Tall. In the video, Darlington implied that Burna Boy’s victory was suspicious, especially since the album was executive produced by American rapper Diddy and Burna’s mother, Bose Ogulu.

Darlington commented, “It wasn’t long after Burna Boy posted a photo with Diddy that he won the Grammy. I’m just wondering, Burna Boy, I’m asking you a question. No vex. How much oil did Diddy drop on you before they gave you the trophy? Burna Boy, tell the truth.”

Despite the legal drama, Darlington is moving forward with his music career, giving fans a taste of "Baby Oil." The song's release follows his brief legal setback and has already sparked interest among his supporters.
