VIDEO - Woman Causes Chaos at Georgia Airport, Chased by Police

 

A chaotic scene unfolded at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Georgia on Thursday when a woman went on a rampage, running through the terminal with police in pursuit while shouting incoherently.

The incident, which took place in the afternoon, was captured on cell phone video and involved a disruptive Delta Airlines passenger. The footage begins with the woman standing behind the Delta ticket counter, screaming at police officers to stay away from her, expressing her distrust of law enforcement and claiming she only trusted firefighters.

As the situation escalated, the woman ran out from behind the counter into the ticketing area, pursued by officers. In her frenzy, she knocked over stanchions, causing one officer to trip and fall face-first. Fortunately, the officer did not appear to be injured, though the fall was undoubtedly embarrassing.

The woman continued running in circles, eventually making her way back behind the check-in counter, where she was cornered by police and airport security.

The Savannah Airport Police Department has not confirmed whether the woman was arrested or detained, and they declined to provide further details on the incident. However, one thing is clear: she was not the kind of passenger anyone would want to sit next to on a flight.
